Land Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and the Algonquin peoples, including the Mohawk community of Akwesasne, as original keepers of this land. The Great River Ontario Health Team is grateful for the opportunity to work and live on this land and we recognize that Indigenous practices of holistic health and well-being have been in place in this territory since time began and are maintained to this day.

We remain committed to, and acknowledge responsibility for, building and improving relationships with First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples as equal partners in all we do. We invite you to take a moment to acknowledge and reflect on the land on which you live, work and play.
